Burchell's White Hill Farmhouse Inn is located northwest of Minden and is Central Nebraska's "Newest" Old Country Inn. The farmhouse provides bed and breakfast lodging in four beautiful, comfortable guestrooms with private baths and private entrances. You can enjoy quiet country charm in the middle of a working farm. The guestrooms features individual temperature controls, farm fresh complete breakfasts, modern conviences,and limited free wireless internet.
The on-site restaurant is located in a remodeled barn and is opened for special events. It features smoked brisket, chicken, ribs, and sausage as well as homemade rolls and desserts. It is also generally for public dining with reservations available on Fridays and Saturdays from 5-9 pm.
The Farmhouse Inn is the perfect venue for family gatherings, business meetings, reunions, parties, and weddings. The grounds are lovely with gardens, fish pond, and a native pasture to explore.
The Inn is certified as a Greener Nebraska Facility, approved by the Nebraska Association of Bed and Breakfast, a retail store of Grow Nebraska, on the Nebraska birding trails. The Inn was selected for the 2012 Nebraska Passport Program.
Bob and Linda (Burchell) Ard are the owners and innkeepers of Burchell's White Hill Farmhouse Inn. They opened the Inn in 2008 and have enjoyed providing quality hospitality to their local community as well as the traveling public.
The White Hill Farm has been owned by the Burchell Family since 1915. In 2015, the family celebrated owning the farm for over 100 years and was honored by the AK-SAR-BEN as a Pioneer Farm.
Buster is the official greeter and friendly farm dog.
